description: once upon a time i had two hours to kill in downtown vancouver, so naturally i went to china town and the tracks. not only did i make it home with a new bowl and some groovy chinese postcards, but i got this pretty pastel picture too. i love it when hard, industrial subjects produce the softest, sweetest images. i give myself a B for composition, but my camera gets an A for capturing the spring green of the grass coming up between the tracks. this one just makes me happy.
