i just sat here for hours, staring at this and trying not to cry.

we had a few more days of winter weather after our return from the u.s., but spring was not long off. and oh, the discoveries it held!

M made a bunch of new friends in our mum and bub group

most exciting discovery this season - sitting up!

 though we're still not doing much of it without support

 joining papa for a cocktail on the patio

and just generally being a super sweet, super fun little person to be with

(minus the new sleep regression stuff, which is no fun so we won't get into that)

i'll eat you up, i love you so!

los angeles, i'm yours

we spent the last week of our US trip in LA with family and friends... the traffic was just as horrendous as we remembered it, and the sunshine just as sweet. hit a bunch of old haunts, caught up with a bunch of good people. lb cried as the plane took off for oz. such a sap, that one.

we've just come off a big week at work (i was technically back on the job from oct 5 to oct 23 to run a conference), and needed a relaxing day at the pub...
